We all love a good pub meal in Yorkshire, and North Yorkshire has some of the best fine dining pubs in the country. Here are some that you might like to try, in no particular order

Star Inn at Harome
In the picturesque village of Harome you will find the Star Inn Harome, a Michelin starred inn that is believed to date back to the 14th Century. The Star Inn is much loved by both locals and foodies from around Yorkshire. The menu is firmly rooted in North Yorkshire, with ingredients consisting of local and seasonal produce.

The Buck Inn
The Buck Inn is owned by an award winning Head Chef, Matthew Roath and his partner Sammy Clark. Yorke Arms
The Yorke Arms is perched in Nidderdale Valley, the 18th century coaching inn is a great place to stop by and enjoy homely food while taking in the rolling hills of North Yorkshire. The pub has gained a reputation for excellent food with a distinct creative flair, led by award winning head chef Frances Atkins. Awarded the Yorkshire Life Restaurant of the Year Award in 2012.

The Blue Lion
In the heart of Wensleydale and surrounded by the scenic Dales National Park, you will find the Blue Lion, an award winning 18th century dining pub with character. The Coachman Inn

The Fat Badger

The Queen’s Head
Enjoy the charming ambience in the quiet village of Finghall. The Queen’s Head is a cosy pub that retains much of its character, its dinning room overlooks ‘Wild Wood’ which is said to have inspired author Kenneth Grahame to write the popular book ‘Wind in the Willows’. The Copper Horse
The Copper Horse is a popular Seamer pub that is steeped in history, with the building dating back to the 17th century. It became a pub in the 1930’s and was eventually purchased by England Rugby International and Scarborough bookmaker, Leonard Price Stephens, when it received its name ‘The Copper Horse’. Currently the pub is undergoing refurbishment meaning that the restaurant is not open, however rooms are still available, make sure to pay a visit in the future.

Crown Inn at Roecliffe
