This is your chance to vote for and support Yorkshire’s finest places to eat, drink and stay.
We are delighted to launch the Yorkshire Life Food & Drink Awards 2018, recognised as the Oscars of the local food and drink industry. We live in a wonderful region, spoiled for choice by a wide range of amazing restaurants, pubs and hotels which have quality produce right on their doorsteps and that means there is no shortage of worthy businesses to nominate for these prestigious awards. And we are excited to announce two new categories - Bar of the Year and Restaurant with Rooms of the Year.
This year, once more, we look forward to hearing from you and receiving your nominations, acknowledging the businesses that you feel deserve to be recognised for their outstanding quality and commitment.
These awards are designed to champion and showcase the talent and innovation from the region’s food and drink industry including local producers and suppliers, chefs, restaurants, pubs, hoteliers and people who care about the countryside and the future of our environment.
The companies nominated are among those voted for by you, our readers. We want to know if you’ve received a fantastic meal at your local pub or have been impressed by the produce and service at your local farm shop or local restaurant.
Your views and ideas will guide our judging panel. Nomination forms are available online at foodawards.yorkshirelife.co.uk The closing date for your votes is May 31st
This year there are 12 categories including two brand new ones, and you can nominate as many as you like in any of the categories listed here.
Our expert independent panel of judges will choose a short list and then the winners, based on their knowledge and visits where appropriate.
All the finalists will be invited to the awards ceremony on September 17th at Rudding Park, Harrogate where the winners will be revealed.
