2017 Yorkshire Life Food and Drink Awards2017 Yorkshire Life Food and Drink Awards

We are delighted to launch the Yorkshire Life Food & Drink Awards 2017, recognised as the Oscars of the local food and drink industry. We live in a wonderful region, spoiled for choice by a wide range of amazing restaurants, pubs and hotels which have quality produce right on their doorsteps and that means there is no shortage of worthy businesses to nominate for these prestigious awards.

This year, once more, we look forward to hearing from you and receiving your nominations, acknowledging the businesses that you feel deserve to be recognised for their outstanding quality.

These awards are designed to champion, highlight and offer a showcase for great and the good from the region’s food and drink industry including local producers and suppliers, chefs, restaurants, pubs, hoteliers and people who care about the countryside and the future of our environment.

The companies nominated are voted for by you, our readers. We want to know if you’ve received a fantastic meal at your local pub or have been impressed by the produce and service at your local farm shop or local restaurant. Your views and ideas will guide our judging panel.

Our sponsors say:

Slingsby Gin, Harrogate

‘We are delighted to be involved with the Yorkshire Life Food & Drinks Awards again this year and for its 24th year, as sponsors of the Best Newcomer category. The awards recognise and reward excellence in both local businesses and produce and with us being a Harrogate based company and also only 18 months into our journey ourselves, it’s an honour to be a part of the awards. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to mix with other likeminded people to celebrate such an innovative and exciting industry.’

Lucia, Wine Bar & Grill, Harrogate

‘Food, wine and friends – it’s the perfect way to spend time with loved ones. Lucia are proud to support the Yorkshire Life Food & Drink Awards 2017. Good luck to everyone involved!’
