An alternative festive offering from West Yorkshire Playhouse which is a ‘raucous, raunchy, rambunctious celebration of cabaret artists from across the UK. They include musicians, live artists, drag acts, comedians, magicians and tricksters who ‘take over the Courtyard Theatre for three nights of titillation, provocation and entertainment’. Dick Wittington (and His Meerkat)
This much anticipated entertainment from Berwick Kaler takes place at the Signal Box Theatre at the National Railway Museum in York while the York Theatre Royal undergoes a £4m refurbishment. Jack and the Beanstalk
New Pantomime Productions return to the Grand Opera House York for the 17th year this Christmas with another spectacular pantomime. It’s a fun-packed show for all the family with crazy costumes, silly jokes, live music and a chance to boo the baddies.
