The Yorkshire Life Food & Drink Awards 2010-2011 celebrated the countys top talent last night handing out awards and accolades to the best in fine dining and hospitality.
More than 250 people filled Aspire, Leeds, for the awards gala evening with special guest Bob Cotton of Hospitality Action and former chief executive of the British Hospitality Association.
The prestigious awards have 13 categories covering key areas of the food, drink and hospitality industry and the winners are chosen by a panel of independent judges chaired by our food and drink consultant Annie Stirk who co-hosted the evening with BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration.
The winners took home coveted Yorkshire Life Food and Drink Awards plaques to display but no one left empty handed. All those shortlisted also took home commemorative plates.
