Photographer Lee Beel was allowed to explore the nooks and crannies of RHS Gardens Harlow Carr and came back with these lovely images
Harlow Carr on the outskirts of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, is one of the most northerly of the Royal Horticultural Society’s gardens and a popular day-out destination for everyone, not only those interested in gardening. The gardens are designed to reflect the spirit of the region with its water features, dry-stone walling, wooded areas and ornaments.
There is a touch of adventure too with its log maze, bird-hide family trails, children’s tree house, play area and woodland dens. But what really draw the crowds are the exhibitions and ‘doing’ days which allow everyone to learn something about the world around them.
