From beautiful barn conversions and Georgian mansions to fairytale cottages, we take a look at the inspirational interiors of three stunning homes in England

The Cotswolds

One family swapped the hustle and bustle of city life for a wisteria-covered Victorian cottage in the Cotswold countryside. From the outside, the cottage would fit perfectly in a fairytale story book, and it has the interior to match. But the family who took on the building had no easy journey as they picked one of the wettest summers on record to renovate the property. Discover how this wonderful cottage finally got its happy ending.

Essendon, Hertfordshire

Through the keyhole of this Grade II listed Georgian mansion house, you’ll find floor to ceiling windows, large open fireplaces and roll top bathtubs to boot. The renovation of this property was lead by Cherie Lee, a talented interior designer, who turned each room into a luxurious and chic living environment. Every room is exquisite in its own way, but the cinema room is perhaps the most impressive of them all. Take a look at some truly magnificent shots from the interior of this South East property.
