Huddersfield Literature Festival
The annual festival features poetry, storytelling, talks, workshops and events for all ages at venues around the town. 2016 is the tenth anniversary and celebration plans are already underway.
Grand Northern Ukulele Festival
Concerts, workshops and all manner of uke-related events taking place around the town, the Huddersfield festival is now one of the largest events of its kind in Europe.
The celebration of African and Caribbean culture marked its 30th anniversary in 2014 and is always an extravagant celebration of music, dance, drama and some showstopping costumes.
