Beevers is a small family firm established 25 years ago in the picturesque fishing port of Whitby, North Yorkshire, set in an inspiring former 18th century sail making factory.

We are committed to creating a unique experience in sleeping comfort, pledging total commitment to the very highest levels of craftsmanship, using only the finest materials.

We have an experienced staff of skilled joiners and seamstresses making quality beds and mattresses to our own designs and specifications.

Our beds by their very nature do not lend themselves to mass production and each bed or mattress is made specifically to order. This allows us to make sizes and shapes to individual requirements.

We also manufacture electronically adjustable beds and massage beds, we source the best possible components for the mechanism and motors and combine them with fillings of cotton or memory foam.

Our luxury pocket sprung range varies from 800 springs up to 3000 pocket springs with sumptuous fillings of cotton, lambs wool, curled hair or memory foam.

All our materials are sourced on a sustainable basis from the U.K. where possible and meet all the fire and cleanliness regulations as set by the National Bed Federation. We are members of the National Bed Federation which advocates high standards of workmanship and service throughout the U.K. manufacturing.

Previously sold exclusively through our stores on the Yorkshire Coast and exported to British communities worldwide. We are now able to supply our extra ordinary value quality beds on a national basis.

We have an extensive showroom at the Old Mill, Stakesby Vale, Whitby, with our full range of beds on display, we deliver free within 75 miles of this location and offer a carriage cost basis throughout the rest of the country, we also have other stores based in Scarborough, Bridlington and Normanby.

We take our environmental responsibilities seriously and an eco-disposal service for the re-cycling of mattresses is available.

At Beevers we offer old fashioned quality and value with modern design concepts and really believe that small is not just beautiful but comfortable.
