Members of the North Yorkshire East Federation of Women’s Institutes dressed up to the nines to celebrate their Centenary Day at York Racecourse.

Meanwhile the WI Centennial Fair is being held from September 3rd-6th at the Harrogate International Conference Centre and is one of the top events taking place during a year of WI centenary celebrations.

There are more than 200 exhibitors plus workshops, cooking demonstrations and lifestyle seminars from guests including Carol Smilllie, Dr Hilary Jones, Bill Oddie and Louisa Fletcher. The fair which is expected to become an annual event, is open to everyone not just WI members. w
