More than 100 guests heard speeches by Kevin Robertson, partner at Dickinson Dees, and Jon Ingham, fundraising director at Northern Ballet.

They also enjoyed a short performance by Richard Johnston and Tara Walker from Northern Ballet Academy, who danced a pas de deux from the Danish ballet Flower Festival in Genzano.

Earlier this year Dickinson Dees took up Northern Ballets Sponsor a Dancer campaign, which was established following cuts to arts funding.
