Great North Art Show raises funds for Cystic Fibrosis Trust at Ripon Cathedral

Film and television actress Jenny Agutter attended the fund-raising private view of the Great North Art Show at Ripon Cathedral organised in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Miss Agutter is patron of the trust.

Film and television actress Jenny Agutter attended the fund-raising private view of the Great North Art Show at Ripon Cathedral organised in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Miss Agutter is patron of the trust.


The show featured more than 30 artists with 250 pieces of work in a broad range of styles and mediums, including work by Malcolm Scott, Nat Quinn and Emerson Mayes. There was work too from world class photographers Michael Dunne former apprentice to Cecil Beaton, Paul Berriff, known for his iconic shots of the Beatles and documentary photographer Paul Harris.


Pat Kilpatrick, north regional fundraising manager for the charity said: We are very grateful to the Great North Art Show committee for giving us the opportunity to create awareness and raise funds to support our medical research and the treatment of CF.
