First up is one of the most established markets in the UK, the Christkindelmarkt, with over40 stallsof authentic Germantradersselling a range of seasonal gifts. In the heart of Leeds at the award-winning Millennium Square, this warm and cosy retreat is an ideal way to get in the festive spirit this winter. Visitors can hide away in the Alp Chalet Bavarian and enjoy the very best in traditional German food and drink.


The Moroccan Market of Handicraft (Briggate) brings the sights and sounds of the Kasbah to the UK. Wander among traditional Moroccan Berber tents and hunt through artisan products as you sample traditional Moroccan herbs and spices. Traders in traditional Moroccan dress sell vibrant arts and crafts from native Marrakech, as well as cakes and other tasty food produce which make unique Christmas gifts.
