Guests at the Country Ball raised just over £21,000 for Martin House Children's Hospice in the charity's 25th anniversary year. The ball attended by 372 people took place in the grounds of Queen Mary's School, Baldersby, near Thirsk in teepees

Guests at the Country Ball raised just over 21,000 for Martin House Childrens Hospice in the charitys 25th anniversary year.

The ball attended by 372 people took place in the grounds of Queen Marys School, Baldersby, near Thirsk in teepees and tents supplied by Papakata, near York.

The event was organised by Margherita Blair, Sarah Hymas, Nicky Alton, Alison Auckland and Bridget Moody.
