Local dignitaries, residents and selected guests attended a champagne reception to celebrate the launch of Padgett Court at Audley Clevedon retirement village in Ben Rhydding near Ilkley.

Glasses of bubbly were followed by a buffet lunch hosted by Audley chief executive Nick Sanderson. Local councillor Lexa Robinson then performed the official ground-breaking ceremony alongside Nick and Mick Hill of Mansell Construction.


Padgett Court will comprise 28 one, two and three-bedroom apartments when it opens for business next summer at one of Yorkshires finest retirement villages.
