At least £6,500 was raised at a charity ball organised in memory of Trudy Ramsden, an emergency control operator with West Yorkshire Fire Service, who died of cancer in 2006.<br/>Photographs by Kim Hodgson

At least 6,500 was raised at a charity ball organised in memory of Trudy Ramsden, an emergency control operator with West Yorkshire Fire Service, who died of cancer in 2006. The money raised at the ball held at The Pavilion, Elland Road, Leeds, will go towards the Yorkshire Cancer Centre Appeal and the Firefighters Charity. Up to 300 people attended the ball.
