How many of these local figures can you recognise?

There are hundreds of statues across Yorkshire and they are there for many different reasons.

They could commemorate important moments in human history or a tribute to way of life that is no longer prevalent.

From kings and emperors to working class people and sportstars, you can find them in our town centres, seasides and green spaces.

We’ll give you a bit of a clue: one place he haven’t featured in our quiz is the world-renowned Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield.

It has a number of indoor and outdoor exhibitions and the roll call of prominent artists they have featured over the years is certainly impressive.
