Final preparations are being made for the three-day Chatsworth International Horse Trials at the Peak District home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire from Friday May 11th through to Sunday May 13th.
Its a timely opportunity in Olympic year to see the worlds top riders close at hand in the only UK round of the FEI World Cup TM.
Alongside the elegance of the dressage, there is also the excitement of the show jumping and cross country as well as a chance to watch the stars of the future in the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse four and five year-old classes.
There will be over 100 quality trade stands and two craft marquees at the event (jointly sponsored by East Midlands Designer Outlet and OceÌ Cannon) selling a great selection of country clothing, equestrian products, fashion accessories and delicious food.
Full catering, fast food outlets and bar facilities will be available throughout the event and Chatsworth House, gardens, farmyard and playground, shops and restaurants will open as usual.

Advanced/CIC3* FEI World Cup TM Eventing. 9am Dressage, 9am Show Jumping,10.30am Cross Country. The finale of the UK round of the FEI World Cup TM Eventing will be the Show Jumping phase in the main arena, run in reverse order of merit.
Discounted tickets are available in advance at chatsworth.org/horsetrials (until May 7th) including a Saturday and Sunday two-day adult ticket at 22 and child ticket at 7 which are only available online.
Otherwise tickets are Saturday 13 per adult, 4 per child (under14); Sunday 15 per adult, 5 per child (under14) under five year olds are free. There is a 3 car parking charge.
Membership offers exclusive access to the ringside Members area, where refreshments are available with a licensed bar. Members badges must be pre-booked and are available when booking online tickets. Tickets for Friday are 10, Saturday 12 and Sunday 15.
